Subject: Here's to Brian

Hi All:

I check every day for a new post. SEEMS LATELY, things have been quiet around this forum... I just wonder if I am the only guy left who still thinks about Brian. It's through us that his spirit lives on. Once we die Brian dies as well. Just ask his own former band members!! Hah. So I thought I would raise a toast to our Brian (lifting a glass).

To Brian: The founder of the Rolling Stones. If it was not for your vision and belief, the Rolling Stones would've never been born. It was your vision that steered the way back when you all gathered to practice, practice, practice with no gigs to be found. That's all the the original Stones ever did... according to Keith and Stu. Mick was there but he never talks about the Stones pre-1969. Just happens to be the same year Brian was forced out of the band. Coincidence? "Doh!!", said Mick. But even back then, when there was no gigs to be found, Brian KNEW they would become famous and bigger then just about any band had ever come before. All fans of the Stones owe this much gratitude to Brian for believing when nobody else did, including Mick and Keith. They, should be first in line.

Anyway, thanks for being a true leader for all bands, musicians, artist's, women (no particular order here ladies!!), and an entire generation. Your kind will never be seen again!!

I hope this message finds you in happiness. It's because of you that I write this now. I may never get a chance to visit your grave, but, I would definitely mention this Forum to you (if I ever had a chance to see your home town).

Hopefully, somebody will respond to this message. Brian deserves much, much more.

George

Take care!!

George S Miller
