Old Spice and I both knew Brian from different perspectives. Although we were both friends to Brian, I was older, a reporter trained to observe people and not prone to doing lots of drugs, so there are one or two things about Brian on which Old Spice and I do not agree.

Brian's death is one. My first reaction on hearing Brian died was "who killed him." Years later when Keith talked to Mandy Aftel he also said he felt Brian had been killed.

Over the years I have heard nothing about Brian's death that makes me think it was anything but murder.
