Bernie:

I'm right in the Stones' age group...almost. I just had my yearly birthday myself, and I'm now 67, which is the age Brian would have been during his 40 year "drowning" anniversary. That makes me just 2 years younger than Jagger and Richards.

Time waits for no man...not even the Rolling Stones. With all of his health problems, I doubt Brian would have lived this long "naturally" anyway, but who knows? So far he's the only member of the band to have passed on, unlike the Beatles, who now have only two left living, and the BeeGees, who now have one more brother on his death bed, and will soon be down to one.

Last April this board had several posts a day, but now all the "drop ins" from Gerry's web site are gone, and even some of the old "regulars" are no longer posting. Too bad LARS can't be re-connected to an active web site...or can it? I don't know about such things.
