I don't know which video was called "We Love You", but I think the most egregious attempt to make Brian look like a horrid druggie was a video where they zoomed in on him showing him not only stoned out of his mind, but with a little white pill in his mouth!! Talk about a deliberate "conspiracy" to make Brian look bad! No wonder the cops were constantly dogging him.

A lot of Brian haters today point to this sort of thing and say Brian was the architect of the band's "we do drugs" image. Considering how little control their founder had over the band's activities at that time, such an idea is absurd, but it shows how deep the lads went to excuse their treatment of him.

The others know how disloyal they were to the man who's dream brought them their fortunes, so they obviously feel that today they still have to portray him as a bad guy who deserved what he got. At least that's the way it looks to me, but I've been hit over the head for that opinion before! I don't know why Bill and Charley, who weren't into the drug thing, seem to be making excuses about why THEY were so disloyal, but Mick and Keith (even ALO) are a no-brainer for it.

Considering the way ALO fed Mick and Kieth's egos when he split them away from Brian, it's obvious to me he had it in for the founder in a big way. Brian's big mistake was not suing him for breach of contract right then, and getting out from under that horrid piece of paper that seemed to restrict all of his movements but allow Andrew free reign to do anything to HIM he wanted to.

It's very sad that Brian's lack of self esteem prevented him from doing anything to save himself, and all his attempts to do so backfired. Everything he did after that made him look worse and deminish his position with both the band and the fans.
