At some of the live shows he would blow Keith off the stage.

Ain't that the truth! Just listen to any live bootleg from that era, it's so obvious. The new official Brussels release shows it too, for those who aren't into downloading bootlegs.

As far as songwriting goes, Mick T has the same (most likely legitimate) complaints Brian, Bill and Ronnie Wood had or have: getting his credits stolen by the Glimmers. I have an extensive interview which he gave to a magazine some 20 years ago, in which he claims credit for four songs he co-wrote with Mick Jagger, and he claims that Keith wasn't even present at the time. They are the two you mention, plus Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Time Waits for No One.

On the new list of the 100 greatest guitarists "of all times" compiled by that rag sheet Rolling Stone Magazine, Keith is 4th (!) but Mick T is only 27th. Brian, of course, is nowhere to be seen. Sigh!
