We can only conjecture what Brian would have come up with. The only thing that seems certain is that he would have stayed involved in music. John Lennon's name has also been mentioned quite a bit when talking about what Brian had in mind, but I don't see this. John looks like he had an ego about the same size as the Glimmers' and I'm pretty sure that Brian didn't want any part of that.

Maybe he could have gone on to write more film music. His ADOM score is really very good. It's actually the only redeeming thing about this gigantic failure of a movie.

He also could have expanded his interest in Moroccan music but I don't think the world was quite ready for that yet. I'd like to think, really, that he would have gone back to his blues roots.
