And I also think a blues-y, roots-y route might have interested Brian again, especially at the beginning of his "freedom" from the Stones. After all, he was very into CCR at the time, loving that swampy, roots-y sound.

I, too, think he would have experimented a lot---with various people in various projects. And maybe have scored more films and worked more with various aspects of world music. And, I think that down the line, producing would have been right up his alley!
