No, I'm not a fan at all, never read his books but I understand he wasn't too kind to Brian in them, so screw him. I think ALO was the absolute worst producer in history of recorded music. I listen to a lot of music in my mp3 player through good headphones and it is so apparent, the piss-poor garbage production value of all the early Stones recordings he worked on, especially when comparing them to anything the Beatles did, it sounds like the Stones were recorded inside a muddy old barrel. ALO really had no business producing music.
