David, we give the same benefits to those in need here as does the UK...dental, etc, neontal care....
My complaint was concerning the illegals who come here and take advantage of our system. Then they refuse to work and refuse to learn the english language. Many don't pay taxes as well. They live illegally 10 to a say a three bedroom apartment---illegally...and if you look hard enough you can find the 10 of them all receiving food stamps and aid from the church---all in 10 different names, so they get 10 times the aid needed. Completely illegal. They claim 10 family units per one household.
Legally would be another story.
Million dollar babies are yet even another story. Who could possibly afford a kid who comes outta the hospital aged seven months with health issues and an eight million dollar bill? I have seen it many times. And even for those who can afford imsurance, they cap out at one million. Forced to go on medicaid thereafter.
One problem is the exorbitant cost of healthcare.
Another problem is we are too nice....
