I think Linda Keith was a victim of Linda Keith. From what I heard about her back in the day, she had a lot of problems, very few likely relating to Brian. Im not entirely certain the suicide attempt was regards Brian. He certainly didnt understand it. But he always kept doors open to his girlfriends, long after he should have quietly closed them. He would have taken Anita back to the end of his life, even though yes, he actually did get over her. But it would have been the same story as before since Brian could never be true to just one, and could never manage to say what he meant in a romantic relationship. Which is damned odd when you think about it, because he could verbalize his thoughts perfectly when talking to me about these romantic messes he got himself into, but sometimes its easier to talk to a friend, and Ive always been the problem solver.
That said, Brian would ask just about every girl to marry him, but had you tried dragging him to the altar, all youd find standing next to you would be smoke. Brian would be in Marrakech.
