Only a couple of people reacted negatively about your news, WOW. It would have been nice to know of Lewis' death a little closer to the actual time however, but I understand your motive. I'm glad you finally posted it.

I am deeply saddened that Lewis closed himself off from his son's deligtful children and grandchildren, when they could have greatly enriched his life. Now I know he'll not get that opportunity until THEY pass on. A shame, for I feel in his heart of hearts he really loved his son, but just didn't know how to deal with a child so different from himself.

The idea he seemed to feel Brian's children should be punished for their father's sin of begetting them out of wedlock is Lewis' own sin...and his great loss. I know Brian loved his dad, because he was always trying to please him, yet remain true to himself at the same time. I feel it was an impossible situation while they both still lived.

Does anyone know anything about Louisa? If she still lives, she'd be well into her 90's...or is she also gone?
