As far as the band names, when Brian tossed them into the ether in front of me, he specifically asked that I keep them to myself because they were just ideas and he didnt want them getting out and creating a lot of speculation. So I shut up. Im good at that, not spilling peoples secrets. Its how I hear a lot of stuff from people, because they know Im good at keeping stuff to myself.
As far as Brian going back out on the road with a band, I agree that was probably never going to happen. He simply never had the stamina to deal with the tours, and considering the three ring circus tours have become, no, he could never have done that. I think he was heading more into arranging, and I can see him eventually going into film. He was very charismatic and had a facility for acting. I think becoming a film score composer might have been part of his future, as he was very proud of ADOM. He did the rock star bit and was over it for the most part. He had a short attention span with a lot of things, but creating that perfect sound was always important to him.
And as concerns the Alpha-1 theory, its my theory. I certainly dont know if he had it, and it requires a specific blood test to diagnose, which very few medical professionals even know to look for. His symptoms that I observed fit with those of my late husband, so it piqued my curiousity.
And no, Lazlo, I wasnt there on July 2, 1969, but I was supposed to be. I was busy working on a job in the darkroom that had to get finished, otherwise I was to have been picked up by Tom when he collected Amanda Lear.
