I believe the Teardrop you saw in the photos was one of those knockoffs that Pat Townshend and the fan club were selling.

I'm not exactly sure what transpired between the owner and Trevor, but there was some sort of falling out between the two of them. Some of it was discussed here and can be found in the archives. Roxanne had some items on display there. As far as the museum being open for one day, I'm not totally sure how long it was open, but if it wasn't one day, it wasn't open much longer than that.

As far as why there were P.J. Proby autographs in a Brian Jones Museum, I don't have a frickin' clue why or what the association was. I've long since ceased to even try and make sense of what Tre...I mean, what the fan club does or says. Perhaps anyone in the fan club who posts here can inquire for an explanation on that one and share it with us.
