Subject: Re: Question about Brian's Music

Thanks Old Spice. I was thinking that maybe he had spoken about his frustration at having his songwriting credits stolen from him. So the mystery remains: maybe he did write the song and the credits were indeed stolen from him, or maybe this is just an urban myth (a rather persistent one, I might add).

I dont know if he ever wrote anything other than Anitas film score, of which he was very proud.

And with good reason! It is a brilliant score (too bad the film and Anita's wooden acting weren't nearly as brilliant). The very fact that his score is so good makes me believe that he surely must have written other stuff, including songs for the Stones (including, maybe, Ruby Tuesday).

We never spoke about the band except for the times he told me he wanted out.

This is interesting. It kind of half confirms what I have been told: Brian wasn't fired from the Stones but rather left of his own accord. Is there anything you feel comfortable telling us about the parting?

I certainly hope we're not overwhelming you with questions :)
