Youve got to remember I was maybe 22 years old at the time. My mother was a vicious alcoholic who demanded no one ever divulge the truth of her drinking. We would get slugged if we said a word to anyone, much less her doctor who came to the house for dinner on a regular basis. I was indoctrinated into never spilling anything without permission. That night I was so scared I just did the only thing I could think to do. Now, of course I would call EMTs to come take care of someone that happened to, but now Im 66 and have raised children.
As far as Brian shoving me, like I said it was not violent, and to be truthful, in a way it wasnt even Brian, it was like someone else was doing it. He had a strange look on his face, sort of pained, no other way to describe it. I know its been a long time, but that incident is burned in my memory in every detail. I never saw anything like that happen again, but I did walk in once when he was just coming around from it happening, so I learned it was something that happened often.
As far as his parents, I never met them, but from the things he told me, his mother had a lot in common with mine, only mine was far worse!
