If you knew how much Danielle Steele makes me cringe! Ive never read her god forbid, but Ive been in book retailing my whole life and when people ask where is the romance section I just want to barf!
I was actually in LA once, and walking down Sunset with a gay friend when we spied Fabio sitting at a sidewalk cafe. I asked Edmund if he wanted to go meet him, because I figured Fabio was a gay icon, and he just gave me this whithering look and said "No sweetie, its Fabio."
