The lawyer was convincing Trevor (and Pat Andrews) that to be silent was the best course, which made NO SENSE TO ME...
The most recent thing that Scott's done in regards to all this was to get one of Brian's sons to speak out. The Sussex police know about this, but I don't know if it's being pushed as a way to open the case - it being a blood relative. Could work. We'll see. But as Tom Keylock and Alan Klein are dead there will probably never be a conviction, although a few other people involved are still alive. At best we can hope for the case to be left 'unsolved' instead of 'misadventure' but 'misadventure' was always dubious to anyone with half a brain anyway. No?

In regards to all you say about Trevor I agree, and he led a lot of people on with opening the case and "people coming out of the woodwork" and all that. We've all heard outright lies, big ones, and stupid small ones, you're absolutely right. I don't think he's necessarily malicious, but handling a fan club for such a controversial man, in life and in death, and such a big star, is way out of Trevor's league. He doesn't know enough about show business for one thing, and he doesn't have the insight and common sense for such a complicated situation. Further, we all knew that Keylock was not a healthy man which was my main reason for believing the press and everything had to be done FAST FAST FAST.. but the people in charge (Trevor, and the lawyer) didn't think so, they thought they could just take their time.. well as far as I can see it's all over now, now that they took their time - hell even the lawyers dead at this point!

Absolutely ridiculous idiots, all of them. Scott Jones was chomping at the bit, and he was right of course. But maybe it was all meant to be this way. If the case opened and it was found that Brian was murdered, whether it was manslaughter or pre-meditated murder involving business/Klein, who would have really suffered? It would have been the Stones, and do they really deserve that? Thats a question we all have to think about. And I conclude, no. Sure they didn't look into the death, but if it was dodgy because they fired him and promised him money, you can be sure they didn't think he'd be KILLED! (See Stones In The Park, MJ's snotty face about Brian going away when "we didn't expect him to." Years later he changed his tune to tragic-druggy-Brian, because it would have hurt the band if the truth came out IT WAS A DISGUSTING THING TO DO granted, but .... since the death of Keylock and Klein the Stones have brought Brian back into the band on their website at least - I knew this would happen!)They fired ALL those people shortly thereafter, including Keylock who had been working with them for their entire career. No coincidence? Had they kept him on, and the management, then I'd say they deserve to suffer but they did not. My opinion. For Mick Jagger and the Stones, Brian was a big part of why they had a career, sure, but it's really been a mine field in regards to Brian, alive AND MAYBE MORESO IN DEATH! Mick's done an amazing job at not getting blown up and I personally respect that. Y'all may differ in what you think!!! Completely! Cool! Mick and the Stones carrying on was the best thing ANYONE could have done for the legacy of Brian Jones anyway, and they've done just that!
