Potter? You got it at the same time we did?

Brit TV is a cult thing over here, their programs mostly are shown on Public Television along side educational shows & documentaries so it has that stuffy, intellectual air about it that turns off the reality TV, sitcom watchers. So us Yanks aren't used to thick Brit accents. I am more used to it than others but there are things that go past me (either said too fast or slang we don't have or a Brit culture reference I don't get). Ken Loach made a film about working class Brits that had accents so thick that the release in the US was subtitled as distributors thought not one would understand a word. I think US shows minimize thick American accents so you haven't heard real Southern drall or Okie or Bostonians who don't pronounce the letter R.

They just started the new season here on Sci-Fi. Saw The Runaway Bride and Smith and Jones again so far. Bride was OK, more remeniscent of season 2. I've heard Martha will be out and the Bride will return as the new companion of season 4. Are we going to get killer Santas every X-Mas special?
