Yes thats it for me to, I have officially announced my retirement from the playing side, a long standing groin injury has beaten me. First ever ISA league game away at Wezzie Park to Custom House 5 years ago and my last game away at Wezzie Park to Custom House. Quite ironic really.

Have really enjoyed the playing side I never thought i'd ever get back into football again having jacked it in years ago but the idea of creating a club where everyone enjoys there football was a great idea.

Not the end of me though I will still continue as Chairman, Pitchside Motivator (Ditch's version of Archie Knox), net putter upper (however not in the J H Godwin mould) and sub collector. Not forgetting my ranking as one of the club social gurus.

Highlights

1) Playing - winning the last ever section d title
2) Scoring at Brymbo - Chester fans will know the true feeling of that
3) Pitch invasion celebrations after scoring against the Red Lion

Playing at the Deva also a big highlight

Funniest moments

1) Macca to the Egerton lad - 'You'll do OK if you get rid of that C**t on the sidelines'...'thats my dad'....'oh oh he seems ok I suppose'

2) Dave Mel's silky Leopard skin boxers

3) Ditch against the boathouse 'Will someone pick up Pat Nevin' referring to one of the best spots on a Sunday

4) Neil and Ditch taking run ups and kicking each other in the nuts at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon in John Street, after winning the title.

5) John Hocking acquiring the nickname 'The Earl' and it sticking for 5 years.

6) Brian referring to the Bache lad as 'Baldy'

7) Winning the Rob Wellings injury sweep.

many many more and to many to mention.
