Could it be that for once, the lovely Heidi is to be dazzled by something other than the high shine of the Coleman's forehead???

Shock horror as rumours abound of the lethargic, journeyman full-back signing a 'long-term' deal! The slippers are well and truly on and it may not be long before our very own Bobby Charlton look-a-like is searching for original excuses to disappear off 'for a paper' of a Sunday morning.

Bryan 'can't make it tonight lads' Coleman, it wasn't really that nice knowing you anyway.

Whilst on the subject of impending nuptuals, I believe some old fashioned high jinks are imminent this weekend to mark the original 'slippers' official retirement from socialising. God help you Mr Howell! I greatly fear that some race goers at this weekends Derby meeting may well be dabbling in the ancient art of silly beggars. "gooo on big man, go and win the game for us..."

In other news, the latest member of the pampered bunch of over-paid primadonas that make up the ISA FC squad to be seen quaffing champagne in the jacuzzi at the ISA's official spa and health club, is none other than the skipper. Meanwhile, a certain hardworking, classy and continental style full-back was working tirelessly in the gym to ensure that the finely tuned machine that is his body, was in perfect condition for the forthcoming season.

Alas, that very same individual is taking a short break from his intensive training regime, to treat his woman to a celebratory birthday weekend extravaganza at a charming 5 star he knows in Mayfair, and shall consequently be unable to sample Chester's A-list drinking establishments for a few nights at least. "Shaken...not stirred"

I close by leaving you all with the inspirational last words of my dear uncle;
