What a result. Who'd have thought that with the back line decimated we could pull off a result like that. Especially against a team who someone said before the game could possibly win the Section. Committment was last night's watch word, and I've never seen 11 ISA players so comitted to getting a result. Get FUCKING in there.

After the match I was thinking and, while I'm perhaps disgressing, thought that maybe had we played that way for more of the season we could have won a few more games. By "that way" I mean making sure we are solid at the back and looking to score on the break. For the majority of games this season we have tried to play football against teams and have been shown wanting on numerous occasions. Perhaps playing that sort of sweeper system would be beneficial. At least we wouldn't be caught on the off sides like we have been. All you need then is a forward who can hold the ball up and wingers/midfielders who can run off. Just a thought anyway.

By the way Mell, now I know what you mean about taking the goal kicks. My right ankle was very painful this morning. Should be better by Sunday.
