As a Liverpool fan myself I am inclined to agree with your "neutral" observations. I reckon that Houllier has completely lost the plot. As someone on the radio said after the Villa game, he's gone from a genius to a jester. What is he doing????

As for the signings, my opinion is we've got too many players who are either too young and inexperienced, or just too rubbish. Or both in some cases. The likes of Biscan, Diouf, Traore don't deserve to be in a Liverpool team. Maybe the reserves, but that's it. How we miss the likes of McAllister and Litmanen. Even though they couldn't play every game, that sort of experience is key in a side, especially one struggling like Liverpool. Add to that the fact that Owen and Gerrard are struggling for form and it's no wonder we're struggling.

Think it's time for me to start following Chester.
