In reply to: John Gwynne 's message, ""What other "sport" can you succeed by being a lay about? None that I know."" on 20:42:53 02/28/03 Fri

OK, perhaps you have thrown up some valid points, but how can any of these players be regarded as layabouts? Danny Murphy? Yes, he might be f.a without football, but at least he has made the effort to train and get himself fit, rather than just sitting in his garage or going to the pub to get hammered and play darts with other piss heads. FACT, Jack. [as you like to put it]. The same pretty much goes for the rest of them.

As it is, the fact remains that darts players are generally layabouts with little to no athleticism and are at the top of their game simply because they have good hand-eye co-ordination and a desire to go to the pub, get pissed and enjoy themselves. FACT, Jack. [again, as you like to put it].

Better counter arguments next time please. You're constant backing of darts over proper sports is not only becoming tiresome, but is a real insult to sportman up and down the country. FACT, Jack. [Again, as you like to put it - thought I'd get one more in]
