You mention players that I will admit are bad signings, perhaps not Heskey. Can't believe you omitted Diouf though. While Houllier has made some bad signings he has also made some good ones which have moved the club forward. The likes of Hyypia, Henchoz [as part of the defensive back 4 he has played well if not individually], Riise, Dudek, Kirkland, Hamann. Plus he has helped develop the likes of Murphy and Gerrard. Surely Sir Alex must have made bad signings during his time at Old Trafford, back in the early days before United finally won the League?

Anyway, going back to the original subject, was it 2-0 on Sunday? How easily the mighty crumble. Before you pipe up, remember the old adage, " you are only as good as your last game". If true, we are Kings of the World. Man U are nothing.
