A night of tension and a comeback bigger than Mario Lemieux's or Michael Jordan's was witnessed by all in the Last ever game to be played at The Eight Rights.

By 9.15 it was looking like our lads would be going home with nothing except a third defeat of the Season, as Big Cock Pete, Rofty and Tall Paul all squandered leads and ended up on the losing side. 3-0 and it was time for the Rights to bring on the big guns. Captain Lee Miller kept his 100% record for the season going with a much needed win over his opponent - Miller not as flash as last week, but still found time to hit a 125 and a 100 as he gave the Rights a small lifeline to cling onto. Steve Mcgeough was up next and threw what was an awful leg by his standards but managed to stumble across the winning line for 3-2.
Young Daz Hawkeswood made it 3-3 and old spirit was restored.
Leo Burns looked to be cruising towards making it 4-3 to the boys, but then pressed the self destruct button to let the opposition come from over 200 pts behind and take the final singles game of the night leaving the rights 4-3 down with two to play.

And so onto the Doubles, and with the United game over Neil Howell was now ready and roaring to play. Neil along with doubles partner Lee Miller demolished the opposition to leave it all down to the final leg. Goughy and rofty were sent up in a leg that was tighter than a wet t-shirt.
but with the rights left on 74 goughy stepped up and with 3 darts hit the winning checkout to send the place into carnage - Fans and players alike dancing on the Oche, and some twat even got carried away and pinched Burnsy's darts as a souvenir from a famous victory on the last night of Darts ever at the Eight Rights.
