We were able to book rooms at the hotels two weeks ago, so they had not blocked out the hotel soon enough. Trying to book in the block yesterday, we have change rooms each day to stay in the same hotel or pay full price.

In years past we booked these so early in May, and had a syllabus. We still don't even have that for ours. It makes me so mad to see that our region cannot get their act together.

Also, I would suggest that when the dust settles you call the hotel about the fact that you have multiple one night reservations. Unless your actual room type is changing nightly they should be able to fix that to make it into a single reservation.
