Subject: So I'll give you that they didn't block enough rooms early enough but the room block has always been booking in August for years. This year is not any different.

Also, I would suggest that when the dust settles you call the hotel about the fact that you have multiple one night reservations. Unless your actual room type is changing nightly they should be able to fix that to make it into a single reservation.
