Creator? Perhaps. Man with a beard? Naahhh. If there is a Creator, it is beyond our understanding. Think of all the things we have found - down to the all but unimaginable sub-sub-atomic bits and Quarks and what-not, all the way to trying to figure out stars, galaxys, the Universe And Everything! A Creator? You think we could understand it? By comparison, we are smaller than plankton in the Pacific -does the plankton know we're there?

Good is in the hearts of humans. So, unfortunately, is evil. Good is kindness, generosity, and guidance toward being that way. Evil is rationalized insanity, deliberate indifference...oh, the lists go on and on. Who has been good? There are so many examples of those who have been good in different ways. Who has been evil? the obvious is Hitler - but Stalin ran with him, neck and neck. Papa Joe was worse, in some ways. But, again, there are many examples. There are also many famous examples of those who have been both. Most of us fall on the scale somewhere in the middle.

Which brings the basic question - what is religion, but an attempt to classify that which we regard as good and evil? that which is societally acceptable, and what is not? For example, where did the admonishment against murder come from? Religion. Modern religion is 98% about establishing ORDER, and societally acceptable behavior - and not all of that is bad.

I could go on and on with exploring this - but I must go to bed...I look forward to exploring this topic with everyone!
