someone at the stakehouse said it very succinctly and accurately I believe. (paraphrase)- xander thought he could help Faith b/c he thought he knew her(i.e. thought he had an intimate connection with her), while Angel thought he could help Faith b/c he understood her. What does this mean? It may mean that xander doesn't really understand buffy or faith or their natures as well as he thinks he does and this may cause him to make bad decisions or form bad alliances. With the "three must lead and one must deceive thing."...are you saying the SG must lead and an outsider(probably spike or perhaps even Giles) MUST deceive. Or are you saying that out of the three to lead that one of the three will be a deceiver. It sort of reminds me of that comment made about joss originally planning for Xander to be Glory's vessel...I really don't like that idea.

Are you referring to the Angel episode where he gets lilah to get him into a meeting with the senior partners(in order to get Connor back) only to be met by that scary little girl in the white room(didn't she say something like-"poor little angel wants his baby back...ribs, chilli's babyback ribs;)"

Once again I think another poster pointed out that becoming a vampire or the living dead is another form of afterlife and vamping must be pretty common, cause there's alot of them. Do you think someone will choose to become a vampire this season on either show?
> 4)Is the map the territory ? Is the
>Playground in your mind's eye the backward symbol or
>the reality ?

I'm very out of my depth with this one. As has already been pointed out the map does not = the territory. Our perception of the world/reality does not necessarily= the Actual reality. The playground scene in Restless...I'll go there another day. Too much to speculate on
> 5)Is a Shark evil ? Is an Evil Shark with
>a *higher* purpose Evil ?

If sharks=vampires then yes they're evil, but only by human standards(i.e. they eat us). It's a passive evil though, cause it's in their nature. If souledSpike decides to be Evil( i.e.actively goes against his new guiding star) then that probably means there is a higher (ME) purpose and it also sucks.

A blast?- xander was blasted by willow, willow was blasted by giles(and vice/versa), spike was blasted with his soul by Lurky(a shanshu themed crossover?)

Probably so, wasn't the parallel b/n Holtz torturing Angel and Angel torturing that guy from W & H kind of scary? Do you think Angelus will

Blindness is a blessing when bad stuff is about to happen or when it helps keep the peace.
When is a Mistake

>for tears ? If the Mistake is fated then it's not a mistake- someone will do something unintentionally but fated and it will cause great tragedy?

Great game 3Strikes. I'll try to keep up and add some more specs and questions of my own as the season progresses. Remind me again why I watch this show? As it looks now we seem to be in for a whole lot of heartache on BtVS and AtS.

Oh yeah, you can also email me at Ckjetil@aol.com- I tend to check that acct more.
Take care,
Leona
