I am looking at becoming a first time RV buyer and found a 1976 Bluebird that I really like. After looking at several ads and reading some forums, I am a bit confused by what the dealer is telling me. He says it is a FC33 with a 3208 CAT. He is telling me that it is 300hp, but all the others I look at are listed at 210hp. I do see some at 300hp, but not for several years newer. Is it possibel for a '76 to have the 300hp engine? What is the difference between the two, is it turbo vs non-turbo? Also, it has a gas generator instead of diesel. Does one have an advantage over the other? I assume the gas is cheaper to work on or replace if needed. He tells me there is no hour meter on it which also seems weird?

I think in 1976 the Birds were still gassers, if diesel a previous owner may have installed a Cat diesel. the 300 will have a turbo, & air to air cooler and many modifications to inatall all the extra parts.
