I am seriously looking at my first B.B. Wanderlodge. Something that concerns me as I look at the ads is that many of the coaches with low miles have new transmissions or rebuilt motors at low hours. It is my understanding these coaches are built for mega miles so why do so many have rebuilt powertrains? Appreciate your feedback.

Biggest reasons are poor maintenance and lack of regular use. Like most things in life- Use it or lose it. Big Diesels do not like to sit idle for months or years at-a-time.

Thanks for the response. So I guess what I person has to do is take a unit to a reputable mechnic and have it checked well. I am sold on the BB's and I hope to enjoy my retirement on the road. Cheers

Like Shane said it is maint. I have an 86 pusher with 153K miles and it runs like new. No smoke, starts every time and it quiet down the road. I would never buy anything other than a Wanderlodge, ever.
