Hi All,I have been researching Motor coaches etc. for some time now, must have looked at thousands of adds by now. Can't believe how many there are out there for sale.So anyway, would like very much to own one(with the bank of course) and this brings to the forefront a question involving book value. I looked into NADA and was amazed beyond words to see what they had valued rv's,can this be true? I see on your claasified some real fine pieces of equipment, but looking at NADA a 35,000.00 wanderlodge is only worth 2000.00 tops. Whats up with that? How does anyone ever finance?

I always tell people that diesel is the cheapest part of ownership, so be prepared for large repair bills if you do not do your own work. Banks, for the most part, know this too and have found out over the past 7 years that people will quickly walk away from a home once they are upside down in the value. The same is true of RV's. A luxury item is not normally finanaced- most ususally pay cash or have a cheap source like a HELOC.
