Subject: Pageants remind some of the Traveler's group on a documentary.

That was on one of the shows like Dateline or maybe 60 Minutes. These girls in that group were dressed in women's sparkly clothes, just like at pageants, beaded and glittered heavily. Way over the line of age appropriate. There were some as young as l0. They were paraded around, like at a pageant, but they were put up in front of older men looking for young wives. There was alot of talk about it looking like a pageant at the time it aired. That was around the time the Jon Benet tragedy had occurred. That has been paralleled with the high glitz southern pageants on many occasions. In fact, when all the airing about pageants are done, it looks very similar to the Traveler concept in the eyes of the general public. I do not think there would be near as much bad publicity if the pageants were like they were BEFORE all the money spending to pay adults became the priority.
