I know the 8-9. It is LKP,AP,HS,CA,SB,SS(I think all these girls are Sonjas). The 6-7 is LY,MM,AM,SJ,MD,SE,TR. TS will be the grand supreme and will be pulled from the 13-15.

The info about what will happen at any FF is posted before the pageant ever happens. If people go and get screwed, it is because they are stupid or they can not read well. This system is owned by people who promote what they sell. That is way overpriced package parts that make them a big living. For anyone to believe that they are not going to let their clients win is ignorant. They also pick kids to win that they think they can draw into their cult they also rule. Why people support this kind of trash is amazing. I guess we can expect some parents to have to get wins that way and mostly becuase their child can't cut it without political help. I guess.

It sounds like, from some of the winners, that it should have been bashed a whole lot more. Whoever heard of this being a face pageant that would believe it. They are totally ridiculous to call it a "face" pageant. It is a who you know pageant and every one is finding that out.

I am so GLAD this is finally happening. We found out the hard way that this system is all about who the national directors want to win. They want the ones to win that will pay the huge bucks to come on to nationals. That is what these socalled directors they picked are all about. They picked the directors that would do what they said and help promote money, money,money and more money, in their pockets. That FF national is not about face, it is about who they want to win for whatever reasons they have in their sneaky little minds. IMHO

There is so much conflict of interest in pageants, it makes just about all titles a joke. Everyone trying to become a vendor, to take tax deductions and enter their child free everywhere from what they save on taxes. Conflict of interest has made pageantry a three ring circus.

Marion pageant this past weekend. Said big name kids were there. What a lie. There were only 7 kids in the entire pageant and most were younger kids. Noel Hall took the grand and walked away with $500.00. Now get this----count----Debra Hall brings 4 of the girls for referrals so Noel can get in free. Count Noel and that's 5 kids. SO----- 4 moms out of money. Debra gets a freebe as always and then $500.00 to boot. When will you people open you eyes and quit letting Debra Hall use you. Honey she only wants you for one thing and thats to get Noel in free. a friend

you can bet that if Deborah Hall has to pay for anything she wont be there. And she only does pageants that she knows she can win. I have had directors tell me she drives them crazy with phone calls wondering who,how many is comming.,and does Noel have enough referrals to do it. The reason she dont do the big pageants is because she cant work on referrals at pageants like GD,GB and ect. and Noel will not be guaranteed a win or she wont be able to buy one. You people just don't know DH like you think you do. I could tell you things that you wouldn't beleive. BEWARE

I just saw on another board that Rachel Smith TN was also a pageant kid, and don't forget about Brittany Crews, she is also a pageant kid. This is neat that our pageant kids are going on to the teen pageants. Go girls!

You are full of it. Kyleen K used to do big guru nationals. I saw her myself at several. The last one I saw her at with my own eyeballs was Majestic. She did do a few after that, and I can't remember where all I saw her before that, but I saw her at almost every one I went to. So yes she is a "pageant kid" and is the Birdsell girl one of the Birdsell sisters that used to compete the same places we did also?

No one said they went up there all national pageant kid, you would be stupid to do that. They are saying they USED to do those kind, even if they still did them, and some of them may, you do what you have to, to win, and you don't do guru h./m at miss teen and you don't do miss teen natural at guru pageants, and it seems they all know this.

Has anybody bothered to call Toni O. yet and tell her what she's getting herself into with this MD director? The director got Toni hook, line&sinker by giving Toni's kid a grand supreme in one of her many photo contests to ensure that Toni would come...also gave grand supreme entries to some of Toni's other kids, including CF to make sure the kid didn't even go back and crown at FF and came to her pageant instead. The woman has a ran a heavy line of crock by Toni telling Toni she already has 30 paid entries in her hand and that is she is giving the money no matter what and Toni has fallen for it......has anybody bothered to tell Toni how involved Michael Butler is in this thing and that once Linda gets Toni and her kids there and she gets their money, they are ALL getting screwed???

They posted that Troy and Michael put up a banner on the Bravo making fun of Farrah's Falls. I think that is the dirtiest thing I have ever heard of. They were big buddies and Farah's mom was SOOOOOOOO into them. The posts says that they were made because she started that business. The NOW have a fall business and the poster said they were so greedy they wanted that too, along with their other 6 or 7 spin off COI businesses. They have got to be the most selfish people I have heard of. They want it all. I wish I could have seen the banner they put up making fun of her fall business. But that is the way they are. They can't stand for anyone to have ANYTHING but them. What did the banner say? I would like to hear more about this, it is one of the tackier things they have done, besides bashing kids on the internet because they were mad at their parents.

Well I intended to go to FF in the beginning but I've definitely changed my mind.
T&M have been bashing in every single possible way since MDD started - not only did they call the director and THREATENED her, but they bashed H/M coming, kids coming, gosh they even bashed the HOTEL price !!
How can adults go that low ? And the worse is they must think we are so damn stupid and no see through them.
So... we're headed to MDD instead. Butler is supposed to "run the show". He was supposed to run quite a number of pageants this year (including some he didnt even come to). He was supposed to run ED last year - but guess who won a Supreme and 8 door titles ? It wasn't LB ! LOL.
I just wish all of the directors would stop taking us for fools and let us make our own decisions. T/M sure showed their true faces these past few months and I for one am NOT liking them.

They start out with all the sugarcoated lies then they move on to snare the big money from anyone who is willing to pay. After you pay in several thousand dollars, you begin to see that that money is going for their child and their wins. If you happen to compete in the same supreme group, you start noticing a tearing down of your child in suttle ways. This happens if they are scared your child might win out. They make fun of them in underhanded tacky ways and someone who has a brain begins to see the method they use. They try to brainwash you that THEIR child is better than everyone else and that you have to come in second place or suffer the consequences. I guess some people who don't have a child in their age group or supreme group might last longer than those who do. It also depends on how much money you got and how long they can suck you dry and you not figure it out. A year would be about right because that is about 4 or 5 pageants and that is where the true colors start showing after seeing their displays or arrogance and spitefulness.

I have a prediction to make for you. Within one year you will be scratching your ass to get money to pay for all the wonderful things you desire.You are a CANCER that has ate away at most of the pageants especially in the south. I know a lot of directors that wish the had never seen either one of you. You have done everything you can do to make them completly unfair. You were the first to not give scoresheets, and the rest followed in just a few years. You are the first to create circut judges. Before directors got their own judges. You created circut judges because you knew them all. They started with you. You started all this digital photos, because you cant shoot a decent photo without it being digital. You have cheated, in everyway possible and made pageants a mockery in everyway. No wonder most of the public think pageants are for the insane. I a time when pageants need to put their best foot forward you offer a satans cloven hoof to show the world. ALL YOU DIRECTORS that wonder what is happening to pageants only have to look at the past six years to see what is wrong. We used to have fine upstanding directors that cared what people did at their pageants because it might tarnish their image of being wholesome for children, but now we have the dredge of society runing most of our pageants and they dont care what anyone thinks as long as the money pours in. They think they are too big to be touched. Some day some of the parents of these children will open their eyes and do something to save whats left of the pageant world and bring some honor to holding a title. Theres nothing to be proud of now when you win, even if by chance you won honestly. You can blame a lot of people on these boards and lord knows there are plenty. You would like to convince everyone of your potential clients that just a few people are complaining, let me tell you that there is no way just a few people could do this amount of complaining and everyone knows that. You see, every year you add more and more enemys and pretty soon you have enough to tell the world about all your lies. You have caused a lot of people to go out of business and told them you would do so when they crossed you. You have caused a lot more to quit pageants because they weren't strong enough to fight you and win. Some day all these people might get together and be your worst nightmare. Wouldn't that be a hoot? Everything about T/M may be true, I dont personally know them, nor have I had any dealings w/them, ever!!! Anyway, we went fo FF last year, definately the underdog of our group totally lined up with all T/M's dedicated customers, with the exception of a few including my child, I have nothing to give T/M no big name, no money, nothing but a naturally beautiful child, with B&A h/m, and Toni Pics!!! I felt like nothing there among the whole T/M clan!!! Definately in the wrong place. Our group was one of the toughest in the whole poageant for facial beauty!! But my child won beauty, and photogenic w/her Toni pics, many had told me they wouldnt waiste their money for the T/M show, well I didnt spend much, after photo contest, accept of course for H/m!!! I was so proud of my child , Mabey she was thrown in to make the system not look so bad. Who knows, but who cares she is beautiful, and wins many facial titles. I in no way am taking up for T/M. Because they will have to answer for everyhing in the end!!! So their so called dirty dealings as you all put it are of no concern to me!!! Who cares!!! You win some you loose some, had we lost we would have tried again, as we have many times w/other systems. This pageant cost as much as some of the big pageants that give BIG money and everyone knows they use local yocal judges that dont know anything about pageants, let alone nationals and not to metion are friends with half the pageant. Don't be such a b***h. Who cares about her grammer when she's making valid points. Those considering these pageants need to know this info. Just like with Dynasty Dolls it was posted that the director was known for bad checks and not paying winners so we decided to skip it and see what happened, well what do you know there was problems with checks and winners being paid!!! If Dream Angels has a history with prorating that I have a right to know that as we will not be going now. Think before you post next time. She wasn't bashing the system she even said it was a decent pageant. But I agree prorating does suck when we pay in full they should too.

Pageant people, especially those making money off of pageants, decide which laws of our land that they want to follow and then teach their children to ignore the laws they do not like, i.e. the Cosmotology Laws in place in every state. Pageant people ignore and abuse those laws.
Pageant directors and vendors do not want the truth about crooks, theives and opportunists that are using the pageant industry to make a big living. They do not want that exposed on the internet boards because it may lose them some big income. They want people to learn the hard way, and find out about the crooks AFTER they have invested their child's college fund and lost it or mortgaged their house and got in financial trouble. Let's face it, to keep up in pageants these days, at least the ones that are highly promoted on the boards, would cost an average family over half of their income. There are people on the boards who want others to realize what they are getting into and make them think before they get in over their heads. But if they are not told the truth or are too dumb to understand, they are in far too deep and lose their butts before they realize they have been used. That is what the washing of the boards and the intimidation posters are trying to do, they want to hide the truth from those who are about to spend their life savings on pageants.

The pageant was awesome. The awards were out of this world as always. Ms Shelia runs a first class show! If you missed it you missed a lot of fun. Don't know exactly how many showed up, I'm guessing around 40 maybe. The competition was fierce in all groups. If you won a title it was deserved. The judges stayed til after crowning and answered all questions. Can't wait to go back next year. Congrats to all the girls on their new titles.

I think the problem here is that pageant moms do not think rationally. Unfortunately pageants become an obsession and they become grossly blinded by the quest for the crown to even realize what they are doing to their own children. It is very sad. I am a "pageant mom" to some. I have children who "compete" in pageants. When we started I was able to look at what the older competitors were doing at some pageants and KNOW that it is just wrong. I knew right off that I could never subject my young children to adult makeup, teased hair, gaudy, glitzy adult style clothing....or pro-am. I know other moms who started the same way...but got caught up and became willing to compromise their child for the almighty crown. Their vision gets clouded and I truly believe they do not even know what they are doing anymore when it happens. YES I will agree that it is wrong for any man to find a child "sexual"...but ladies, that is not the REAL issue here. The fact is...there are men out there that are like this. More than we like to admit at times. The best word for them is "predator". As a parent it is our job to protect our children from such predators. Dressing children like miniature adults, in crop tops and tight pants and pull away skirts in full makeup and hair...is just making them a target for such predators. So why as a parent would you continue? Sure...there are a lot of moms out there who swear by and by that their children just LOVE pageants. And some do...but they would also enjoy simpler, non glitzy pageants that don't make a young child look several tims their age. There are also those children out there who don't really LOVE it all that much, but they continue to play the game because it makes their mother oh-so-happy. Ladies, as a fellow pageant mom who has kept her head....let me just say that you can justify it all you want....it doesn't make it right.

I THINK ALL CHILDREN ARE PRETTY IN THEIR ON WAY. YOU MIGHT THINK THEIR NOT AND NO ONE IS AS PRETTY AS YOU OR YOUR CHILD. WE'LL HONEY I AM NOT EVEN IN THE "PAGEANT WORLD", AS YOU CALL IT. The other predictions board says the 0-4 grand was wearing a rag in beauty is this true? I thought this pageant was total package.

That isn't the one that won at GD. She has won best dress at GD with 2 dresses it was the one before it, and the one after. The dress in question was worn by the 1st child at least 4 years ago so I would say it is a little outdated by now.

I HAVE TO VOICE MY OPIOIN ON THIS MATTER. THE JUDGE DID TO ALSO TELL ME THAT SHE MADE HER CHOICE IN COMPARTIVE LINE UP AND I HAD A CHILD IN ONE OF THE SMALLER GROUPS. I FOR ONE FEEL THIS WAS NOT FAIR AND SHOULD NOT OF HAPPENEND.WHAT IF THE CHILD SHE PICKED HAD NO PERONALITY OR DID NOT MODEL WELL. I JUST WANTED TO TELL WHO EVER CALLED THIS LADY A LIAR, THE JUDGE KIND OF TOLD ME THE SAME THING. TO YOU PARENTS WHO ARE MAD BECAUSE YOU CHILD DID NOT WIN, TAKE YOUR LOSE AND MOVE ON TO ANOTHER PAGEANT. DON'T COME ON HERE AND DOG OTHER CHILDREN. Of course you want to drop the high and low score, that way your middle of the road kid might have a shot at 3rd instead of future queen. Those are the only people who like to drop highest and lowest.

My daughter has competed in this lady's systems since she first started pageants and has only won once. I have judged for her and I am here to tell you she is on the up and up. She does not cheat and nothing about her pageants are fixed. She runs on time, and will not wait on anyone. She will not bend the rules even a little bit. Perhaps this person was fishing for compliments or something but I can tell you right now that she was not promised anything by this director.

I know who you are talking to because I know a couple of people who are very upset at the way she talked, and I don't blame them. I think this mother was just trying to brag and scare people away, or she is a little too full of herself. I heard she isn't going because something came up but I really don't think this director told her anything of the sort. I think the mother may have blown it way out of proportion and the people she upset blew it up even more.lol She won't be there though, talked to her this morning. She had not sent any money yet either.

OMG. I THINK I might know who said this too. It was told to me by a friend and I also told the friend that I didn't think Shelia would EVER tell anyone anything of the sort. We have also competed in this system for a couple of years, we've won, we've lost big time, but we always go back because we TRUST her and that means a lot. We love her pageants and my daugher is always asking about "that Christmas pageant" so we will continue to go and have fun, if you don't you are missing out! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow night.

Well I must admit, that I may have been wrong and jumped to conclusions as to who I thought this person might be. For sure if this person "thought" they were offered the grand, then they'd sure be there to claim it. Of course the person I thought it was is NOT even competing lol. So I have now come to the conclusion that this may have just been someone blowing smoke and trying to scare someone away....... Good Luck to all competing :-)

I thought I better clarify.lol I am the original poster and want to add that my daughter won at her pageant before I had ever judged for her, and before I even knew her very well, and also that it was not nationals, and it was a group title, nothing big.lol I don't judge anymore for anyone but I promise this director really tries to be fair and to have a good and honest system.

I HAVE TOTALLY HAD IT. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. YES WE ARE POOR AND EVERYHTING WE USED TO OWN HAS BEEN REPOSSSED. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE INVESTED ALL OUR MONEY INTO PAGEANTS KNOWING THAT WE COULDN'T WIN. WE EVEN TRIED PAYING OFF THE JUDGES BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK. MOST DIRECTORS KNOW ABOUT US AND TURN US DOWN AT THE DOOR. WE COULDVE WON A FEW TIMES BUT THE DIRECTORS MADE SURE THE JUDGES DIDN'T EXCEPT OUR BRIBES AND SO NOW WE JUST BEAT UP COACHES. OLD ONES, LITTLE ONES DEOSN'T MATTER. AND IF ANY KID FROM NOW ON BEATS US WE WILL TAKE THEM OUT TOO.

AND OUR TRAILOR IS EAT UP WITH ROACHES BUT WE CAN;T AFFORD BUG SPRAYY. Yes, she has an older daughter about 12, but Charity does not have her anymore because she could not get along with her nor could she take her out of school to drag her to pageants, that would be a red flag to the school! Too funny to the above poster, because I was thinking the same thing. If any of this is true (which I highly doubt it is), maybe he will pay off all of her debts that she owes people and hopefully he will make sure her child is no longer put under any pressure. If it is her boss, then I must say he is as much of a shady person as she is, so together they are 2 peas in a pod. Hate to see Kensley stop pageants if this is true, but glad to see the mother away from them. Just wish she would pay her outstanding debts to many people. My thoughts really are, CI.
I feel like that if her child is no longer doing pageants, it is not because she is getting married, it is because her mother has come to the end of her rope with everyone and she no longer has anyone to use, abuse or lie to.
Her child was good on stage when her mother was not down her throat and all over her ass when she messed up, but over time the child began to dislike doing pageants and it showed on stage.
The mother has a long history of bashing many people and other children, even going as far as laughing at them on stage where the child could see the laughing.
The mother has made a trail of nothing but trouble for herself and many and most directors cringe when they see her coming.
The mother has taken pictures from T/M (proofs) and have had someone else do the digital work on them at a much cheaper price, this was a couple of years back.
This mother has been through almost every modeling coach, H/M, photographer, seamstress and with every one of them she has bashed, disrespected and with a couple of them she owes money to and also has stolen from.
Not to mention, she has written bad checks to directors to enter her child in pageants and when her child did not win she did not bother to pick up the bad check, one set of directors had to corner her to let her know to pay for the check or else face charges.
To the ones of you that think she is your friend, you best sit back and realize that she has only maybe at most 2 friends and I know for sure she has lied to them as well as bashed them.
This mother has no where else to turn except to pull her child out of pageants due to the mothers past and most recent actions.
This list could go on and on about what this mother has done to innocent children as well as adults, but if the mother is no longer involved in pageants, then this is the best thing that could happen to the pageant world.
If by chance (which highly doubtful) she is getting married or is involved, I can only hope that he takes better care of the child than she did and that he will not allow her to do the things she has been known to do in the past and also

I guess some of the talent winners and beauty winners thought they should have won bigger titles and decided to leave their winnings there. It was a slap in the face of the director. No wonder there have been no winners placed on the boards. I guess those got mad will have their titles pulled or something. Must have been a bad situation and if not, what did happen.

"During my interviews I learned that the coach of the GGs forces the Mom¡¦s to purchase her own brand of Pageant dresses at prices upwards of $1200! She further demands that her GGs NOT compete in certain pageants. Directors have stated that this woman uses extortion to dictate that her group WIN at pageants, even going as far as PAYING some directors for the win and entering a large number of contestants. Directors of long standing Pageant systems have been ruined by this one group. Some have discontinued their Pageants, others are pulling out slowly. She is also paid for doing their HAIR AND MAKE-UP (albeit she is not a licensed cosmetologist!) In addition, the shoes, etc. that the GG child MUST wear are purchased directly from the coach. THE 3-4 AGE DIVISION WENT TO SCARLETT MINOR. THE 2 YEAR WAS MADISON DAVIS. THE OLDER DIVISION WAS WHITNEY MORRIS.. BRIDGETT ROLLINS TOOK THE OVERALL MOST BEAUTIFUL AND OVERALL PORTFOLIO AND THE HIGH POINT FOR THE OLDER DIVISION. THE 0-4 GRAND WAS TAYLOR RAMSEY. THAT IS ALL I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW.

The vendors for h/m, photos,seamstresses, directors,etc. put their prices about 10 times higher than they should be. They want to be in pageants full time so they can let their children be full time PRO pageant kids. Therefore, the peon families pay for all this. Every time there is a pageant, we see the big vendors and director's kids win the big money and we all know they do this full time. NO part time or normal average income person can ever beat them. They know this and they play on that to rob these other people blind by making them think they are big dos if they pay the high prices. Man, this pageant business going on with the high priced vendors is the biggest money racket I ever saw. A crown won at a big national is no more important than a crown won at the smallest preliminary. Or at least that is the way it should be if people had their priorities in the right place.

My name is Director Debbie Dumbwitt. I have to tell you that this board is not good for my business. You people might get to darn smart and not pay me my big fee. You see, you peons need to come and pay me a high high fee. I have to pay for the pageant that will showcase all the pros and make all of YOU want to be a pro. That is how pageants work. I make the peons pay for those big crowns that most likely, their child will never attain. Many will drop out because of the expense, the politics ( I LOVE to play politics with those guys).Those who can be taken in and who will spend whatever it takes may have a chance at those crowns someday are the kind of dummies I want. But right now, the big names that have already spent thousands of dollars MUST get those crowns. It is their turn because that is the way pageants work. If they fall all over the stage, I don't care, they still MUST win. Particularly if their parents are big time operators in pageants because they are the ones who help keep me in business and help me get FEES. AND I love talking to them daily and us swapping little favors and secrets. (tee hee) They know I will bring in the right judges and change things a tad if the judges fail me. Sometimes we just don't bother with judging,we just pick, but to make things look right, we have to play the part. I do hope I haven't let out too many of our secrets because we need all you new people to spend your little behinds off in order to keep ME( Miss Important) and all my buddies who make tons of money, in our big lifestyles. Pageants are a game with us and you have to play the game or WE LOSE. Now if you play the game, you newbies lose, but that is the way it has to be because that is the way pageants are meant to work. Aren't we wonderful.

I bought a dress on line from a girl by the name of Amanda LaPere.. when i emailed her about the dress, i asked her if the dress doesn't fit when i receive it, will i be able to return it.. i was assured there would be no problem. So i sent her 650. for the dress and when it arrived it didn't fit my daughter so i emailed her that day, and told her i would be returning it the following day and it would arrive June 26th.. we'll it did ,and i couldn't reach her my email are my phone.. i left her several messages.. I was really upset we were suspose to do a pageant we had no dress and no money to purchase another one with.. we found another dress 2 days before we left to go to the pageant we had already paid for. She finally emailed me back the day before we left telling me she was out of town and when she got back on July the 10th she would pick up the dress from her post office and send me my money. we'll we got to the pageant and she was there.. so my daughter asked her about it.. after crowing.. she again assured us she would send us the money on the 10th.. we'll we got home and i was told by her post office she had not picked the dress up and they had try to deliver it three times and left three messages on her door.... so by this time i was really mad i emailed her and she emailed be back over a week later telling me her father had been sick and she would send my money!!! we'll we called her house this past tuesday and her mom had said she was at Gingerbread Nationals.. she was very rude and hung up on me.. but she didn't hang up all the way and i could her her talking to someone in there home telling them she had told a lie and Amanda hadn't left yet and how she knew i would just give up because it was to much trouble to sue them...... i couldn't believe this.. i was shocked!!!!! The dress has been at her post office since June 26 and now i was being hung up on!!! I'm really up set..I'm not quite sure the best way to handle people like this.. this is the very first time i've been burned.. i've always bought clothes over the internet!! I do that ALL THE TIME - I wouldn't have it any other way. But I get bashed like hell on this board for being a child basher and a b&&ch. Go figure. Anyways, we were at HY and some of the winners were good, but for the most part, I did not agree with them. I had the little girl who won our group picked to win. She was cute, and modeling didn't count. (Not pro am but beauty walk). But a LOT of the smaller ones I did not agree with at ALL! I don't know what they were looking for. Some of them just plain looked lost on the stage. The two boys they pulled for Supreme were odd as well. The little Cover Girl who got so much was a doll. But the Grand, sorry, nope. Cellulite. And the hair was atrocious. Burned out, over bleached, short curls that literally hung in her face the whole time. You couldn't see her eyes. Some of these kids are going to be for a urprise at nationals. I would order a video of last years national if I were considering going. I really felt like MM in the 2-3 should have gotten a Supreme and MJ (2-3) should have at the very least placed higher. The queen in that group was a doll baby. Haven't seen her before, but from what I hear she just had a photo shoot, so I guess Glitz pageants need to watch for her! Cutie pie! And the 4-6 was a glitz kid. And the 10-12 was a Glitz kid (SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE **GRAND**!!! ANYONE AGREE WITH ME ON THAT ONE??? CK YOU'LL KICK BUTT AT NATIONALS!!) The littlest baby queen was a cutie, too. Lots of personality.

I just thought that I'd let you know that your conversations regarding ISP's and "how a person can trace back from these boards if you they have the right connections" are totally errorenous and seemingly unintelligent. I am not a pageant person but it would seem that you are writing all of this nonsense out of sheer anger. If not, then I'm scared!
I have worked as a computer internet engineer for 5 years now and I can tell you that tracing conversations have nothing to do with having "connections" unless you hiring hackers from the underground! If you guys knew anything about the internet and computer tracing at all, you wouldn't have to state anything. With the right tools or utilities, you can easily trace back conversations to a local ISP including the city and state in about 5 minutes at which time then you could hit the boards with some REAL INFORMATION!!!
I just had to respond to this ridiculous statement(s). Oh and one more fact.....HAVING ONLY 1 SERVER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW MANY ISP'S YOU ARE UTILIZING. You can have 20 ISP's and have only 1 business or home server. A server is nothing more than a storage unit and/or pc that you are utilizing to do the horsework for you Local Area Network or WAN. DUH??? However, not to be misquoted, your local ISP may have only 1 server. If that is the case though then you will probably never get on to even write these ridiculous unintelligent messages.
If you can't speak the computer lingo and use it intelligently then don't speak because it only makes you look as intelligent as you really are!!!!

I have a question to all the pageant "pro's" out there and I would like all of you to be honest with this post and yourselves --
Is it really worth the $$$ you spend? To put a child on stage in these beauty dresses that cost $1,000+ even used, to pay $650+ on pictures that are touched up and don't even look like the child anymore, to enter these photo contests- that pick the same winners month after month- does this really give your child encouragement and self esteem?
What will they do with all of these wins when they have finished school and are out on there own?
Will it help them to secure a better position in society? Will it help them make a better life for themselves?
I am also at fault here, just like everyone else, and have fallen pray to these people who pray on pageant moms.
I was involved in pageants for many years until- I saw something I could not believe. I saw myself becoming so involved, I forgot what was most important. My childs future. Before I had known it, I had started tapping into money that was put away for a college fund, just to keep up in the pageant world!
My daughter has won her fill of titles and prizes, but the truth of the matter is - IT WON'T HELP HER GO TO COLLEGE AND MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR HERSELF. I don't want her to depend on her looks or her sportsmanship to get thru life!
Education is the KEY to success! As long as your child is beautiful inside and out - who are these people to judge she is less beautiful than what you or she believes.
Pageants years ago, before we had to spend thousands of dollars, were fun.
We went to make friends, cheer those friends on and spend time with each other!
Now it is no longer fun- because people are concerned with how much everything costs!
Can you really allow someone to judge your childs beauty? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
ALL CHILDREN ARE BEAUTIFUL and I don't think anymore being on that stage should be the way we judge our children.
I don't think we should be paying these bottom feeding Guru's and people that pray on our insecurities!
Please rethink who your friends are because they probably are bashing you behind your back anyway!
Don't allow these people to run and ruin your life and your childs life by bleeding you dry!

My name is Director Debbie Dumbwitt. I have to tell you that this board is not good for my business. You people might get to darn smart and not pay me my big fee. You see, you peons need to come and pay me a high high fee. I have to pay for the pageant that will showcase all the pros and make all of YOU want to be a pro. That is how pageants work. I make the peons pay for those big crowns that most likely, their child will never attain. Many will drop out because of the expense, the politics ( I LOVE to play politics with those guys).Those who can be taken in and who will spend whatever it takes may have a chance at those crowns someday are the kind of dummies I want. But right now, the big names that have already spent thousands of dollars MUST get those crowns. It is their turn because that is the way pageants work. If they fall all over the stage, I don't care, they still MUST win. Particularly if their parents are big time operators in pageants because they are the ones who help keep me in business and help me get FEES. AND I love talking to them daily and us swapping little favors and secrets. (tee hee) They know I will bring in the right judges and change things a tad if the judges fail me. Sometimes we just don't bother with judging,we just pick, but to make things look right, we have to play the part. I do hope I haven't let out too many of our secrets because we need all you new people to spend your little behinds off in order to keep ME( Miss Important) and all my buddies who make tons of money, in our big lifestyles. Pageants are a game with us and you have to play the game or WE LOSE. Now if you play the game, you newbies lose, but that is the way it has to be because that is the way pageants are meant to work. Aren't we wonderful.

I bought a dress on line from a girl by the name of Amanda LaPere.. when i emailed her about the dress, i asked her if the dress doesn't fit when i receive it, will i be able to return it.. i was assured there would be no problem. So i sent her 650. for the dress and when it arrived it didn't fit my daughter so i emailed her that day, and told her i would be returning it the following day and it would arrive June 26th.. we'll it did ,and i couldn't reach her my email are my phone.. i left her several messages.. I was really upset we were suspose to do a pageant we had no dress and no money to purchase another one with.. we found another dress 2 days before we left to go to the pageant we had already paid for. She finally emailed me back the day before we left telling me she was out of town and when she got back on July the 10th she would pick up the dress from her post office and send me my money. we'll we got to the pageant and she was there.. so my daughter asked her about it.. after crowing.. she again assured us she would send us the money on the 10th.. we'll we got home and i was told by her post office she had not picked the dress up and they had try to deliver it three times and left three messages on her door.... so by this time i was really mad i emailed her and she emailed be back over a week later telling me her father had been sick and she would send my money!!! we'll we called her house this past tuesday and her mom had said she was at Gingerbread Nationals.. she was very rude and hung up on me.. but she didn't hang up all the way and i could her her talking to someone in there home telling them she had told a lie and Amanda hadn't left yet and how she knew i would just give up because it was to much trouble to sue them...... i couldn't believe this.. i was shocked!!!!! The dress has been at her post office since June 26 and now i was being hung up on!!! I'm really up set..I'm not quite sure the best way to handle people like this.. this is the very first time i've been burned.. i've always bought clothes over the internet!! After the winners are announced at UMMI, we will see that it is indeed a guru controlled, COI pageant. It needs to be put on the list of NOT TO DO pageants if you are not stuck up the nasty butts of the gurus. I hate to see this happen to that pageant and I thought it never would. I am disappointed in this director.

If it was clean, good color, fit well so what? This is out of control keeping up with the latest styles. A dress can't have pearls, a flower, short sleeves, long sleeves. Gee whiz when will you stop letting these seamstresses dictate fashion so you can pay them $2000! think about it. At your first pageant if someone told you that you had to pay $2000 for a dress to compete would you have just walked away? The dress should be able to be off the rack if it complimented the child. Hurray for the judges who saw past the dress to that child that you said yourself was beautiful and did a great job.

I am not the orginal poster, but what you are saying is ludicrist. I don't know where you are from, but where I come from a National Level Pageant (novice or not) the contestants should be judged on: Facial Beauty, Modeling, Photos, Attire. I am sorry, but it does play a major part!!! You are silly for saying an off the rack dress would be appropriate for a NATIONAL! The child was beautiful and did well in modeling, but the child should have been deducted for the attire (major) just as if a child lacked in facial beauty or modeling .......all is the same people!!!! The dress alone should have been enough to knock her scores down.

HER DRESS WAS NOT A DRESS THAT COULD HAVE HAD DEDUCTIONS- IT LOOKED GREAT AND THE COLOR COMPLIMENTED HER- THE DRESS WAS VERY PRETTY.

ATTIRE IS JUDGED BUT NOT ON THE LATEST FASHION OR LATEST STYLE IT IS JUDGED ON FIT AND OVERALL APPEARANCE ON THE CHILD.I HAVE JUDGED MANY PAGEANTS,IF IT FITS GOOD AND COMPLIMENTS THE CHILD THAN SHE GETS A GOOD SCORE ON ATTIRE!

I agree with you on your statemant. Except for one thing. The judge that I talked to said moding was not judged and this was in the 5 and up groups for beauty. I was shocked to hear that since I thought it was judges on facial beauty, attire and modeling.

That kid that beat that other kid whose parents judged her recently and cost her the pageant because she beat their kid just before that, well she better make sure these parents don't judge her again because they are out for blood.lol

At DD the man and his wife that judged have a daughter that not only still competes, she competed this weekend at APM. And not only that, but at DD these 2 parents judged kids that had competed against their kid, and even beat her at TDS mini 2 weeks before DD. They had no business judging them to begin with but the one mom let the DD director know she was watching her scores and they better not get revenge, well they were very careful not to piss her off but the other mom kept quiet and low and behold the 2 parents were her lowest scores. Tell me that wasn't revenge. I told her she better say something but she refused. She said she thought they would be honest about it and didn't think they would shoot down her kid....but they did. Well one of those kids beat her again at APM and I heard they were HOT! So I said if she ever sees them sitting at the judges table again she better pull out cause they will be looking to get back at her for APM now even though they already got their revenge by judging her at DD. This just isn't fair. I hope I am never in this mess or I will throw a big one.lol

OMG I know who you are talking about. I was at DD and my friend is the one that told her who the judges were. I was standing there and we all told her she better pull out or say something to the director but she wouldn't and then she got burnt.

0-4 Grand Callie Dykes, , 5 and up grand Hannah Stiltner and Oall Proam, 0-4 novice Lyndsey Miller 5 and up novice Ainsley Peterson, 0-18 Division Supreme Winter Byrd, 5-6 years Division Supreme Andi Murray, 7-9 Division Supreme Kiara Hodges, 10-12 Division Supreme LeeAnn Gibson,Model Supreme Stacy Best, Beauty / Photo Supreme Whittney Morris Overall Beauty Courtney Fields, Division Supreme Joanne Whitner. These are all I can remember and there were not beauty winners so I don't know if group win was all scores total or just beauty scores.

NO YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! If you are referring to my post about judges knowing people below, then first of all, you put your reply in the wrong spot. Second, I was not even talking about APM. Where did you get that from????? Did a coach's sister judge at APM? NO. Did the parents of that kid your kid beat last week judge? NO. 2 parents and an aunt of kids that no longer compete and probably never competed against this group of kids judged and did a pretty good job too I might add. I was talking specifically about 4 other pageants I have observed and participated in within the last year or so. So there.

I agree. Some sides and placements in some groups were not exactly like I would have called it, but the judges see what they see. All the winners were great and deserving and this one ranked way up there with the best in my book. Hats off to Angie and Debbie. It would have been nice to have had a few more awards, like maybe a beauty winner and a age division winner. Some great kids at this one, everyone seemed ON.

I dont understand why there were not a beauty and supreme winner in each div.? There were some really great comp., and some really beautiful girls there. I was a little disappointed in the trophies and awards they gave considering the money we paid to enter. I was also very upset at how the lady at the door was acting over the door badges at crowing. She could of been a litte nicer. After all we are all tired at the end of a long day.

Got to stick my nose in. I did not get to go but several friends of mine did. I think before adding any more titles they should have paid all division winners. Now don't get me wrong none of my friends complained some were paid some were not. not becase the directors are dirty by no means its on the form that there had to be 5 in each group to pay division winners. but after talking to my friends this makes no sense since some groups had 4 and others had 7 why not let the overrun in some groups take care of the 1 short in other groups and pay all division winners? I think they would get even more people if division winners were going to get money for sure even if it was prorated i know I would have went but coudln't risk it. Congrads to my friends.

I agree with you completely that is why we look for pageants that do not prorate and award cash on stage. That way there is no second guessing.

By not paying all beauty winners are they saying that title does not matter. We were smart enough to stay home but feel bad for friends who were supposed to have enough in their group to pay and came home with no money. Sad! They said they ended up with 36 girls. With 8 girl divisions asking for 5 in each group would have meant they needed 40 total. So with only 4 girls short why not go ahead and pay all beauty winners to save face. I know I would have tried them next year but I can't take the chance of winning and then not winning any money back. Anyone else see it this way?
