Most pageants I know of require your referral to be someone who has never done their pageant before. Some say mailing list, but usually will let you slide on that because just because they get a form doesn't mean they will come.

  • Everyone seems to be convientently overlooking the previous posters point. One was upset because the mom was asking for those ALREADY going to put down her name. Another was upset because she has been asked AT the pageant to be a referral. It is not the newbies that are upset and I see the referral moms are defending their turf. I don't think anyone minds those who work for referrals to get them. But referral moms can be a pain begging for referrals from you when they had nothing to do with you going and some people were trying to say what a legitimate referral is.
