I agree with the concensus, looks poached. At first I couldn't figure out what it was since it didn't look fried to me.

Had a nice boiled egg on whole grain bread myself this morning. Would have rather had a square sausage on one of those fresh, warm rolls I used to get at the local bakery as a kid. Oh well...
