Gilly I can't see any reason to change. If the benefits to Oz were going to increase well maybe but I can't see that. I just can't get excited about a new flag which would be The Southern Cross in some shape or form. I think the older I get I still find myself drawn to the monarchy. I'm not too worried because I doubt if it will happen in my lifetime. Apart from that, although I live here and have Australian kids I never regard myself as an Aussie. I still feel Scottish although I don't go around speaking or writing in a thick Scottish brogue. I do get nostalgic about certain things British and I'm still not an Australian citizen by choice. I enjoy the climate immensely here and have been quite successful in the things I'd undertaken . I still think about my hometown a lot and what my life would have been like if we hadn't come here. Maybe I wouldn't have my own home or the jobs I've had and enjoyed but would I have known any different? I doubt it. Who knows? I think my parents would have stayed together in Scotland as there were too many temptations here for my dad.
I did enjoy the wedding and honestly hope that they have a long and lovely life together. Money and position don't hold any promises as we know.

By the way I was watching the Antique show they have here and the items bought were auctioned at an Antique Auction House in Diss. I was looking out for you lol.
