She let out a soft breath, nodding a little, she knew she was just feeling over emotional. His phrase of 'I love you' just made the tears thicker and with everything she was she wished she could trust him enough, actually, trust herself enough, to say the words back she just didn't think she was ready for that step yet. A low breath escaped her lips as she nodded, clearing her throat. "Yeah...we just need to stop worrying so much." She stated, her head moving so she could run her lips over his finger tips, her head cocked to the side. "You need to get some sleep and take your own advice on accepting that one of us getting injured is just part of the job." Her voice soft in the dark room before she shifted a little to lay on her back, staring up at the ceiling as she tried to just think this all through rationally. She couldn't really accept either one of them getting hurt, she was terified of going back out there again but there was no backing out now if she wanted to maintain any of her dignity.
