(As soon as she reassured him and started to comfort him he thanked his lucky stars that it seemed Chase was finally going to sleep.. because he needed her desperately.) I thought he was gone, Shay.. (He murmured against her neck, holding her to him as he nuzzled her skin, taking and giving comfort.) And then they said it came from our apartment.. and I was so afraid for you and Chase.. I don't want this for you.. (He reached down and picked her up into his arms, carrying her over to the bed and slowly laying her down, seaking her lips with his own as he held her there. He was a massive man, pure muscle and intimidating stremgth.. but with her, he was gentle and impossibly caring.. it was something that she brought out in him.. she tamed that crazed side of his brain that was always running and allowed him to simply be a man.) God, I love you Shay.. (He groaned agsint her neck as he started to love her slowly.)
