If this is true I'm shocked! I guess Julia likes to have a mix across the board even if non deserving like China. Well, although China is not deserving, we cannot ignore the growing Chinese influence in the world economy. Of course, if the Chinese candidates are deserving, then we have to support them. However, from the previous pageants, most of their candidates are not deserving and somehow lack of sex appeal, and yet they win. Its just some crazy fans assume just because in Miss World pageant winner of sub contest get free ticket to semifinal spot or 'FAST TRACK', they assumed its going to be the same for Mister World pageant. I was under the impression that there would be Fast Track BUT how it would've been decided was unknown and people just assumed that because Malta won the Sports challenge he'd get a spot or Philippines winning that cocktail challenge meant that he'd get a spot--that was annoying. While apparently I'm "wrong" for making the comparison, for Miss World it was very clear with their competitions such as Fitness or Beach Beauty - the winner got an automatic spot in the semifinals. They were called "Fast Tracks" (as opposed to the Best Dress award which wasn't). It was strange then that even the official Mr. World website didn't state that Malta or Philippines got semifinal spots by winning their challenges, thus I didn't assume that they would. In fact, there were two winners for the cooking challenge and no announced winner at all for the Talent competition! Regardless, Malta should have been in the top 5, not just top 12, which makes me wonder if during the interviews he just sat there and belched or something. Some of the talent agents and scouts from big international film outfits and production companies arrives today at Sanya to witness first-hand the ultimate male pageant that is Mr. World 2007.

Mr. World and it's rival competitions (Manhunt International) through the years has been a good nesting ground for future celebrities, ramp and commercial models, and world-class talents.

Arrived at Sanya today include talent scouts from Bel Ami of Slovakia, Cadinot of France, Titan Media, Bravo Network, Playgirl, and Telemundo of Puerto Rico.

One agent commented, "This is an exciting batch. Lots of handsome faces and their bodies are amazing." A talent scout from a film outfit in Europe said, "We've already talked to some of them and they seem very interested." One American talent scout mentioned,"I've already made some offers and already scheduled for an interview in the US."

The finale of Mr. World commences tonight, March 31, live from Sanya, China.

Honestly, I have no idea. If I ever find out though I will keep everyone posted. What's so weird is that Mr.World Org said that millions of people around the world would witness the event. I'm not even sure how that would even happen and obviously it didn't. Mr.World Org is really great at being vague though, look how they never clarify anything. Mr World 2007 in Sanya - China!

In the next few months you will be able to see the first National Winners on this website and we will be telling you how to vote for them. Follow the contestants on this website as they travel through China competing in a series of challenges. Email the webmaster with your ideas for future challenges or questions to our contestants.

The contestants, will all have great looks and well-toned bodies, however, what makes Mr World so special is that it goes far further, by really testing the character and determination of the our national winners. In the weeks leading up to the final a series of tasks will be placed before them. Some of the tasks are very physical, some test mental agility. All of the tasks are immensely challenging.

A number of challenges are now being considered these include:
