Champ length hornpipe is 1m45s, add 30 sec between groups and you need 2m15s per group. That puts U18 at about 145 dancers per split dancing 2 at a time. It puts U14 at about 140 dancers dancing 3 at a time.

If they added time between rounds 1/2 for judges to take a break then that would cut the estimated numbers down, but with 2 ages groups splitting into A/B/C, I'm guessing the other ages U13+ were close to 300 entrants as well.

Hoping they'll post splits soon. Last year splits were posted June 11.
