Subject: Fun fact. Most don't refer to MD as a "general practitioner" in US. That's Ire. & UK. AP is not US, by the language of post and called on it. Agree with the other poster, live in one of the most metropolitan US cities, never had any huge wait, except for annual physical, which is always booked a year for pretty much everyone, due to length of exam

Insurances won't cover multiple physicals within a 12 month period. Only one. However, if you are sick, have been injured, whatever, can ALWAYS get seen by the PCP within a short, and reasonable period.
