Comparing a well meaning Christian doing what he believes he is called to do with September 11 is absurd. That is my problem with how you argue. You cannot be serious when you put those two thoughts together.

While the guy was not prepared to defend his faith with you (and, I'll bet there are quite a few who could not) you have to appreciate his zeal for what he believes.

I believe that Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are on the wrong path. But, I can appreciate their hard work at getting their message across.

Concerning Christians attacking denominations...a question:
How liturgical is the Lutheran church? I am not very familiar with it. I guess what I mean is how formal are the services? I know that growing up I dreaded attending the Catholic church that my dad would make me go to sometimes b/c it was so boring. Kneeling, and speaking, and kneeling and hailing, and speaking and listening and kneeling and hailing.

It sounds like the guy that came into your store has experienced John 10:10 (I have come to give you life and give it to the full!). Perhaps if you witnessed a church service that had some life you may have a different outlook.

I'll bet none of you have read the book I suggested months ago. It's called Dangerous Wonder by MIke Yaconelli. I will leave this site for good if any of you read it! Here's a link where you can get it:
