The top two finishers, Dallas Seavey (1st) and Aliy Zirkle (2nd) were only 2-1/2 minutes apart into the finish. Almost close enough to race up Front Street in Nome, just like Josh & Tiffany Archer!

In fact, Joe Runyan posted a comment on his blog as Dallas Seavey and Allie Zirkle were approaching Front Street to wit that he had had a difficult time recognizing Fort Davis roadhouse where the rules change regarding protecting one's position in the drag race to the finish
