I believe this is pointed to me.
The article/ad was something I found on Facebook or some such about the time of the last Bullring Days book or "Banners Flying". I do not have or know of any engines for sale of Offenhauser or Miller designs.
The original post was more about NOS Offys being available more than a quarter century after they were competitive. I may be able to recreate the ad posting, but need a better time frame (date) to look on Facebook. OTOH, the ad posting may have been on a "Vintage Racing League" newsletter.
Saab 3 cylinder, 2 stroke engines are another matter. I know of one Saab factory prepped engine that powered a winning race car, Erik Carlson's 1960 RAC Rally #283. That engine is in Louisiana, with the car in a private collection in Fort Dodge Iowa.
