To complicate matters, South Australia has Daylight Saving Time in summer, while Northern Territory stays on Standard Time all year round. The Eastern states are also a little confusing, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania plus Australian Capital Territory have Daylight Saving Time, while Queensland stays on Standard Time all year round. There have been years that the entire country has used DST, other times there has been varying number of states using it. There has even been cases where a state started out using DST with the other states using it and stopped using it earlier than the other ones. Rob
