There are a couple good examples of revenge in "Absent Friend". Ryan Clark had hired a young man at Clark Plywood who had bragged how he had beat the draft and avoided the Vietnam War and was an anti-war protestor. Later, when Steve Augsberg became available to work, Ryan abruptly fired the first guy and put Steve in his place.

Later in the story, Gil Evachevski and the Vietnam veterans help the Amvets prevent the Post from taking over their organization by stacking the deck and merging with the Amvets.

I prefer Cody Archer's response to Bryson Payne in the last line of Stray Kitten is a better example of revenge but that's just an opinion.
