I'm enjoying Stray Kitten. Who is the artic explorer in the blue coat?
Is the snow up to his shoulders?

Just a kid out playing on the street. You would think these days a kid like that would be inside playing video games, but I guess there are a few old fashioned kids out there.

I was down with stomach flu pretty badly through the whole business, but during one of my better periods I read John Greenleaf Whittier's "Snowbound." Things were different then -- nearly 200 years ago now. (The poem was first published in 1866 but refers to a storm in the poet's youth.) Long, but spellbinding.

Take a second look and you will see the brown at the bottom of the picture is probably the bottom of Wes's window and that is fog on the window coming up to the shoulder of that blue coat.
