Thanks for the links to the maps of the Grand Canyon. It gives a good perspective of the trails. I was out there almost 20 years ago. I now wish I had hiked down the Bright Angel trail. I was in decent enough shape that I believe I could have done it. I had the mistaken impression that the trail was narrower than these maps show it to be. Too late now. Anybody who's on the fence about going on an adventure should do it when they can and not wait till it's too late.
