Ketua Dewan Muslimat PAS Negeri Kelantan, Senator Siti Zailah mendedahkan, kira-kira 10 orang Pemuda Umno telah mengugut petugas muslimat yang pada ketika itu sedang bertugas di Banggol Ara.

Menurutnya, akibat ugutan tersebut muslimat berasa takut kerana mereka menggunakan kata-kata atau ugutan yang amat tidak bermoral.

�Sebelum ini mereka dilihat berkumpul di Banggol Kemian dengan tidak berbaju hanya berseluar sahaja di samping kepalanya botak,�ujarnya.

Zailah berkata, sekiranya perkara itu berlaku lagi beliau serta pimpinan tidak akan teragak-agak untuk membuat laporan polis. Tegasnya, setakat ini teragedi itu hanya dilaporkan pada petugas muslimin sahaja.

Serentak itu juga beliau menyarankan mana-mana muslimat yang ingin bertugas hendaklah ditemani oleh beberapa orang muslimin bagi memastikan keselamatan mereka terjamin.
